Remember to BE These Things (Besides an Actor)
As an actor, your job is to be 10,000,000 things at once: you have to be your character, but you also have remnants of your true self in your performance. You are everybody you’ve been influenced by. You are your experiences, your feelings, your memories. You’re a student of the world – you learn from actors before you, teachers, comedians, actors who are living out your dream now, hell, even your parents. You carry all your experience and education with you as you explore and grow your craft. These are things your mind constantly, subconsciously catalogs as you go forth in your career – and sometimes the important simple things get lost in translation.
We’d like to take a minute to remind you of the highly effective SIMPLE things that can drastically impact your acting career for the better. Get into that audition room and remember to take these words with you!
