MRP Spotlight: Reinhold Heil
This week our MRP Spotlight is on the Golden Globe nominated film and television composer Reinhold Heil!
Reinhold’s musical talent was apparent at a very young age while growing up in West Germany. Early in his career, he found his stride as the keyboardist for the Nina Hagen Band – the legendary German punk band.
Driven by his love of movies, writing and producing music became his passion. After dropping out of the pop music scene he found himself scoring films. Some of his credits include Cloud Atlas (Golden Globe nominated 2013), Run Lola Run, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Deadwood and Without a Trace.
Currently, Reinhold is scoring Helix for Syfy as well as Legends for TNT. Learn more about his experience working on these shows and his process as a composer here.
