This week’s client spotlight is on fitness trainer and sports coach, Kristen Sullivan!

Residing in West Hollywood, she keeps extremely busy with work and her two kids. Beyond her very busy life at home and with work, she has quite the adventurous, humanitarian spirit. Recently, she trekked to see the mountain gorillas in Bwindi, Uganda, where she is also involved with a philanthropic project at a local orphanage. She’s taking her kids back there next summer to volunteer at said orphanage, which should be an incredible experience. Additionally, Kristen Sullivan and her daughter  work at the OPCC feeding the homeless in Santa Monica. Earlier this year, she rock climbed “Ancient Art” sandstone tower in Moab, Utah, and climbed/skied a 14,000-foot peak in Aspen backcountry. How’s that for adventure?

Something people would be surprised to learn about Kristen Sullivan is that she is a walking duality — she’s got a strong, rugged, athletic spirit but she also is very girly. She said she loves pink and all things glitter. If she had any super power, it would be time travel. Makes sense for someone whose life is so packed with adventure and experience, right?

Right now, Kristen’s favorite thing on Netflix is the Leonardo DiCaprio-produced documentary called VIRUNGA, which showcases the incredible true story of a group of brave individuals risking their lives to save Africa’s oldest national park (and its wildlife inhabitants) in the midst of a civil war tearing the continent apart. She said it’s her favorite because she is so passionate about the cause. She also just watched “Risky Business” again with her 16-year-old daughter and “loved seeing it again through her eyes.”

Given her crazy busy schedule, Kristen Sullivan isn’t super big into social media, but if you’re interested in finding out more about her fitness training and availability, feel free to give her a call at 310-779-9136. It was a pleasure learning more about Kristen — while we mostly shoot with actors and models, we also have a wide array of clients; Kristen is just another glowing example of inspiring people we get to shoot with!
