MRP SPOTLIGHT: CIARA BRAVO
Congrats to our MRP Spotlight, actress Ciara Bravo for landing a role in Steven Speilberg’s pilot “Red Band Society” airing this Fall on the Fox Network. Read more about Ciara Bravo here.
We shot with Ciara Bravo this February after she wrapped filming hit Nickelodeon Show “Big Time Rush.” After her show ended she told her managers she wanted to “try different things” and began auditioning for dozens of network comedies and dramas. She came to Michael Roud Photography to refresh her headshots for Pilot Season and before you know it, Steven Speilberg himself is looking over her pictures.
This fall you can catch Ciara as Emma, a 15 year old with an eating disorder, among other long term pediatric patients on Steven Speilberg’s Red Band Society. Rounding out the cast is Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer (“The Help”), Dave Annabelle (“Brothers & Sisters”), Charlie Rowe (“Neverland”), Brian “Astro” Bradley (“The X Factor”), Griffin Dunne (“Dallas Buyers Club”) and Zoe Levin (“Arrested Development,” “The Way Way Back”).
“It’s pretty cool to have such an accomplished cast,” Ciara said. Spencer has been “incredibly helpful. She’s offering us advice – not on our acting skills – but in the Hollywood business. She has so much to teach. She knows her way around. She’s amazing.”
