I heard Meryl Streep is auditioning for the role of Mowgli in The Jungle Book and you should too. Read more and see a few auditions in “Master of Disguise”

AUDITIONS:
Seeking male talent ages 9-12 with Middle Eastern features to play Mowgli in Jon Favreau’s upcoming Disney re-envisioning of The Jungle Book.

This would be the role of a lifetime. Disney features are huge productions and not to mention you would be the star of the whole show. If you aren’t a pre-teen Middle Eastern boy, that’s okay. Just do as much cardio as you can and start fasting leading up to the audition so that you look gangly and pre-pubescent again. Dress in androgynous clothing and maybe throw on a little shoe polish for brown face. You’ve got this.

AUDITION:
Seeking male and female talent ages 13-16 to portray grungy, homeless children in new Batman prequel series GOTHAM.

This looks like a great opportunity to do some background work. If you live in LA, you’ll have to hitchhike across the country to make the audition by July 20. By the time you arrive in the tri-state area you will be malnourished and dirty which is a plus, because your wealth of real life experience will come in handy to play a homeless child.

AUDITION:
‘Where Pets Are Family’ Seeking three men and women of all age and races, preferably with their own pets; will be depicted walking their pets.

Pet-less? Don’t fret. Here’s how you can nail this audition: Go to Runyon Canyon in Hollywood and snatch up one of the neglected dogs running loose near the picnic tables. You’ve already paid that dog more attention than its original owner anyway, so give yourself a pat on the back.
If you’re feeling bold, this is the perfect time of year to find deer and mountain lions roaming around the hills of Griffith Park at night. If you show up to this audition with a mountain lion on a leash, you are sure to book it!Consider these opportunities as potential jumpstarts to your career. Now is a great time to book your headshots with your favorite LA Headshot Photographer so you can get movin’ on the road to stardom!
