The Organized Actor
As it goes with school, a desk job, or anything that requires your undivided attention, if your life isn’t organized, you just won’t be as successful. You can’t reach your full potential and make room for good things when your desk, your head space, and your day-to-day is in complete disarray.perbandingan smartphone
Here are the 3 biggest tips we have on staying organized so you can always be a few steps ahead of the game:
1. SCHEDULE YOURSELF
Stay on top of your time commitments. Even if it means keeping everything in your iCal or your phone calendar. Set appointments, commit to staying on top of a schedule so you have ample free time to devote to your personal life. When your professional life is running harmoniously, you’re able to achieve more of a work-life balance. As an actor, you’re going to be all over the place and hopping from audition to audition — make sure you stick to your timelines!
2. CATEGORIZE, COMPARTMENTALIZE
It sounds cliché, but dividing your priorities into categories makes your life easier. Separate your needs from your wants, your “MUST DO” tasks from your “SHOULD DO” tasks, your work deadlines from your personal deadlines. It will give you a clear visual of what your priorities are and which ones you should knock out first. It also might give you an idea of what things/people/obligations are unnecessarily eating up your time. So, categorize, review, and assess accordingly. You can do it!
3. MAKE A LIST
All the experts say that when you make an itemized list of things you need to do, you’re three times more likely to actually complete all the tasks you need to get done. How’s that for something simple you can do to make your life easier? Write it out! Create a visual for yourself! Then knock things off your list one by one. The end result: productivity, and more time frees up for you to be creative and explorative.
